ABOUT

Dr Manish Pruthi completed his Orthopedic training from PGI Chandigarh and Orthopedic Oncology fellowship from Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. He has done his advance training in computed navigation in orthopedic oncology from Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, UK and Diploma in Tissue Banking from NUS, Singapore..
Dr Manish Pruthi has more than 14 years of experience in the specialty, and has worked at many reputed hospitals in the country. He has worked as a Fellow in Orthopaedic Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai for 2 years. He has worked as an Assistant Professor Orthopedics at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor Surgical Oncology at Delhi State Cancer Institute, Delhi where he established the department of Orthopedic Oncology. His last appointment was with Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai where he worked as a Consultant in Orthopedics & Musculoskeletal Oncology for 3.5 yrs.
Musculoskeletal Onco surgeons are far and few in number and about 20 of them in active practice across the country.
Dr Manish Pruthi has performed more than 1300 major orthopedic surgeries in his career. This includes challenging trauma cases, major tumor resections, management of bone infections and non unions. This includes international patients from Asia and Africa.

Performing complex MSK oncology surgeries like limb salvage surgeries with tumour prosthesis, intercalary resections with recycling of tumour bones, total femur replacements, pelvic resections.
