Dr. Loveleen Johri

Dr Loveleen Johri is a Senior Public Health Specialist with more than thirty years of experience in clinical and public health including managing and implementing large government and donor funded bilateral and multilateral health and nutrition programs at United States Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and CARE in India.

Most recently, Dr Loveleen Johri has been consulting with USAID, World Health Organisation (WHO)/ India Country Office, South East Asia Regional Office (SEARO)/ WHO, and with an International Finance Corporation (IFC)/ World Bank funded project.

As Senior Health and Policy Advisor at the DHHS, U. S. Embassy, New Delhi, India, Loveleen was responsible for leading DHHS Health Diplomacy efforts with the Government of India/Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and other stakeholders.

Loveleen has strong representational, technical and managerial skills including establishing cutting edge, innovative health projects, such as, establishing Social Franchising network clinics for maternal and child health and family planning services, in partnership with the state governments and private sector; providing technical and managerial direction to major projects, etc.

Loveleen is a member of a number of professional organizations including Indian Public Health Association, Indian Medical Association, Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Delhi and Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of India. Loveleen has a number of publications in national and international journals to her credit.

A medical graduate of 1977 batch, Loveleen practiced clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology for sixteen years. Her passion for Public Health led her to seek second post-graduate degree and she is currently pursuing Public Health as a full time career. She holds two post graduate Masters Degrees: 1) Masters in Community Health Administration and 2) Diplomate National Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Ms. Taapsi Johri, Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer,is a seasoned legal professional specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) laws.

Taapsi has more than 15 years of experience in the field of intellectual property law. With an extensive background in the field, Taapsi has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in all facets of IP protection, confidentiality, privacy and allied areas.

Post her LLB (Hons) degree from India, she pursued an LLM in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University in Washington DC, USA.

During the course of her career as a lawyer, she has worked with three tier 1 law firms in leadership roles.

She recently exited from an IP Firm, where she was an equity partner, to focus full time on Secmeds.

Taapsi manages regulatory, ethical, data privacy issues so that the legal framework is addressed right from the beginning.

Vivek Thakur is a graduate with an Engineering degree, B.Tech, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is the Founding Partner, Axero Solutions LLC.

Vivek is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who influences the Foundation with his strategic vision, values and fresh approach to philanthropy.

Vivek has over 12 years of experience on Microsoft stack. He is recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional and a Subject Matter Expert for the ASP.NET.

Vivek is the IT Advisor to the Secmeds Medical Solutions.

Vivek is a blossoming guitarist, a black belt in Taekwondo and an avid writer, who writes blogs for social, technical & policial reforms. In his own words: ”if you want a change then be that change, no matter how much small it is". Vivek strongly believes that education is one of the major contributors towards solving majority of the problem our country is facing.
